Green Jewels

When it comes to fashion, nothing is more basic than a pair of blue jeans and a white top.  To me, this is basically a white canvas.  What really makes the outfit stand out are the accessories- jewelry, shoes, handbags, etc.

 A lot of the time, I accessorize with complimentary colors because, well, they compliment each other.  For this look, I wanted to wear my oxblood Gucci pumps, so I added green gemstone necklaces to accent the shoes.  

I also chose to go with a layered necklaces because the blouse had a low neckline.  I think with low, plunging, and v necklines, layered pieces work best; whereas, statement and choker pieces go more with crew and high necklines.

Because the shoes and layered necklaces were the main focal point, I wanted the other accessories to be more demure.  So I stacked on a few dainty bracelets and added gold marquis earrings because marquis shaped earrings go with everything!
